I have been working with this one: http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/dogs/miniature_schnauzer/

I've been going back with my Sunny's pedigree using those old records from MSPedigree. I've spent hours thus far, but have only done a small part of his pedigree..... but in that small part I have gone back to the beginning.... showing two Standard Schnauzers and one Miniature Pinscher (black and tan) as ancestors.

If anyone else chooses to add to that database, start with the early dogs and work forward to the most recent. It usually works better that way.

By the way, the inbreeding in those early days is unbelievable! But I suppose that was the only way to set type.

Also, I discovered a flaw with this program. It doesn't like the early dates.... and makes them "2002" rather than "1902"... it's done that to me 2-3 times now. I reported it to the site owner, but hate to remove those birthdates. I haven't done it for all the dogs, but just some randomly. It is interesting (to me) to see when they were whelped. I suppose I really should do it for all the dogs that I can... but the entire process is so time-consuming.

Initially, I thought the bug/flaw did that with any dates before 2010, but the last couple times the dates were in the '20s and '30s.

You need to be a member of the site and logged in. then just click the add dog option and fill in the forms. It helps if yyou start with the oldest dogs in the pedigree or if they are already in the database, to look up the code number (you will see it in the address bar when viewing the individual dog) and use that to identify each parent.

have you logged in? Once you have logged in, under the options you chooose for how you want to search (dog/kennel/DOB etc) there is a search button, beneath that is says 'operations' and below that 'add dog' and 'to confirm'

If you have problems just send me the info you want on there and I'll do it.

Hi,
I have added Penny / Kristec Money Penny and Minty / Kristec Snow Angel to zwergschnauzer data base.
But to find them you would have to type their names in name search.
I can not find a way to add Kristec as a Kennel or add Kristec Kennels to the listing of Kennels!!!!!!!!!!!!
Help someone. Embarassed

Hi,
Yes have registered with zwerg-schnauzer database about two years ago.
Yes can login no problem.
Yes can and have added two pedigrees.

Still cannot add kennel name or kennel details to listings and have moved address so old details no longer apply.
On Login there is: add dog and to confirm.
But my question is how to add my kennel details?
Have emailed: Elena Werdenberg, Yuriy Semenov and Elena Gerster, yesterday, see if I get a reply.

Hi Chris,

your kennel is added.

I tried to reply on your email, but recieved it back - wrong address.
I searched web and found different email addresses you use, I would like to know which one is really working and which I can add to data-base.
