MILIA POZZI TARLARINI - Malya - has passed away

This is a really bad news for the schnauzer-people all over the world: a couple of days ago Mrs. Milia Pozzi Tarlarini, owner of Malya kennel (established in year 1952) passed away. She was 79 years old. She was breeder of Black Giants, Black Standards, Black & Black&Silver Minis, specialist conformation judge and Honourary President of Italian Schnauzer & Pinscher Club.

She has bred a huge number of champions; many of them were exported in other countries where contributed to the development of the breed, improving the type (just to name two, the black minis Malya Gunter in the U.S. and Malya Swanee in the U.K.)...I had the chance to know her and also work in her kennel for a little while and this has been one of the most useful experiences in my life...She was always willing to talk about dogs and to share her huge experience in dog breeding.

Italian dog-people shall miss her badly.

A sad day for the world of Schnauzers. A kennel name known all around the world.

Yes it's a very sad day for the all schnauzers people on the world !

We are very sad to know one of the most important breeder of Schanauzer in the World is go away.
Mrs. Milia Pozzi Tarlarini will remain in the History of the Schnauzer and in the hearts of all Schnauzer's lovers

I a so sad to know this. All my black giants came from Malya bloodlines, i remind me when i came in Malya kennel for the first time, and when i bought Malya Sunkiss. During any years i liked going there and see her dogs. She had Pepe Nero de nador Cleville who was born at home...
Last time i went there, i bought my last giant male Malya Nanko.
I am very very sad this evening.
