I'm also planning to have my miniature schnauzer training on agility and obedience classes. I know agility training is a great way for me and my dog to work together as a team. How much is the regular price for these classes and how old does my dog need to be to start agility?

The cost will depend on the place that is giving the lessons.
My daughter Katie and I currently have our two 17-week-old puppies in puppy agility foundation classes. All the obstacles are set very low, and the jump bars are on the ground. Some people are doing weaves with their puppies, but we are not yet as we feel they are too young. I cannot keep Piranha Boy (Billy) off of the obstacles; he thinks it is WONDERFUL.

You might want to consider joining the Performance Schnauzer E-mail List. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/performanceschnauzers/join?referer=1 That list encompasses ALL that schnauzers can do (in all three sizes), but most there do agility, and some are from California.
While this forum is world-wide, it is primarily European.

Thanks again, will join that. I need to create a yahoo account first. I only have gmail and aol. Yes, I noticed most users are from Europe. Glad to talk to different people all over the world regarding one topic that we all love.
