Here in holland we like to see a tail that is straitght up,not over the back.
I don't know if you mean that...??
The tail from th picture of the black could be oke,if it is so,but the black and silver is not oke here in holland Wink

But i think you mean a sabel tail?? or sable tail???
It is also very difficult to see a good tail on a photo, some dogs, when they sand stil alone they have a very good tail, but when they moving...the tail will go over the back, and that is a fault.
Even when the tailset is oke,but the tail is over the back, they don't want to see that here in holland, and also in germany,i think Wink

ALL OTHER WASTE. FRAUD. IT IS SO IN EUROPE?

In Germany is it so. Most german judges are very strictly about the tail form.

Recently in the rings here are not seen the dogs with "bad" tails, they simply have no chance to win Surprised

In Germany? Judge Elke Ahrendts (Germany), Schicker
Walter and Gisa Schicker (germanj) ... I do not think the same as you.
The German can also docked tail. well I'm saying? win docked dogs across Europe, asking for some Germans?
The Germans have a toy Schnauzers in European and world top?
what are the dogs?
Beautiful dogs of Europe are in Germany, no sword tail!

No, unfortunately I don't understand bad english Sad I understand a good english also not so good.....

I do not think the same as you.

I do not think. I live here and I go to shows and I can see that happens. And I have a dogs with a good tails as a dogs with bad tails too. And I see how will be judged here.
Not all german juges doing it so, but the MOST of them.
But you can also ask another schnauzer people, who lives in Germany and who go to the shows here.

With docked tail and tea cup schnauzer I don't understood, that you mean.

Our "main-judge", Herr Schneider, says : "The dog with bad tail can get "excellent" not BOB" so.

And please not forget, that sometimes will be judged not a dogs but "faces". And then is the tail-form does not matter any more... Cool

It is true some dogs do this...ive seen it often and ive seen alot of Hunters offsprings, perfect tail:)

But i did not know of this strong rules for the curly tails, because all over Europe there are dogs winning that have curled up tail...Maby it depends on how "curly" it is, i do not like "pig" tails myself..but a bit curled is ok but offcourse i prefer normal tail.

No no no you have not understood me, I do not think the Hunter, but I accidentally took his photo. I wonder if such a tail is ok, not the tail as the Hunter live, I wonder as a tail in the photo. ok or not?

My Gwenno has a very good tail and when he see an other dog he can do the same with his tail,But his tail is oke.
But when a male has this tail in normal position then i wouldn't like it.
I like a tail like my Latoya, who is always up,not the end of the tail on the back.
Here we want to breed only dogs with straight up tails.
My Gomez has also a curly tail, but he give puppy's with good tails, but he can't win anything here Sad

I think, this is a big problem generally.
Many dogs (males und females) have a bad tails but don't give it to their progeny. Or very rarely.
And in generall they can be good breeding dogs.
But only because of their tails they wins here nothing and can not be shown without remarks about their tails.
A very unpleasant situation! Suspect

There was a change in the official standard?
Bring some of their local rules, the level of State or province?
Where formal written a new rule regarding the tail?
